Hobsonville Point

Buckley

The Buckley Precinct will include over 650 homes, neighbourhood shops, early childhood centres and a new primary and secondary school. Roads are designed to make walking and cycling pleasant and safe and buses will provide a connection to Westgate, Albany and the new Hobsonville ferry service. Hobsonville Point Park is the largest reserve within the Precinct and has a playground, plenty of seating, fantastic landscaping, public art works and a planted wetland.

Each home in the Buckley Precinct will be healthy, warm and energy and water efficient. Superfast broadband services will be available via a fibre optic network that connects to each home, school and business. There will be a mix of stand alone homes, terraced houses and apartments in a variety of sizes to cater for a diverse community.

A detailed design code, a design guide and design panel will ensure that the built environment and landscaping is of high quality.

Buckley will be delivered through a public private partnership between the Hobsonville Land Company and AVJennings. Houses are being built by New Zealand builders.
