Hobsonville Point provides opportunities for marine industries using the accessible land close to a deep water channel. Once fully developed, the precinct is predicted to host more than 20 boat-builders and sustain up to an estimated 2000 employees, either directly or through associated businesses.
Retail
Local convenience shops like a corner store, a hairdresser, a bakery along with cafes and more, are planned at the waterfront. Later precincts will provide for convenience, café and other retail appropriate to the range of activities on site, from residential to employment and lifestyle.
